Meet Kelly Russell, MSN, RN, NPD-BC, CMSRN, the nursing excellence coordinator within the UofL Health – Office of Professional Practice at UofL Health – UofL Hospital. She became a team member in January 2018 and initially worked as the mixed acuity educator until she transitioned into her current role in October 2019.

Mark Spivak, MSN, BSN, RN, began his health care career as a newly graduated registered nurse at UofL Health – UofL Hospital in 2001. Twenty-one years later, he serves as Emergency Department director with the same organization.
Laura Jones, LCSW, began her career wanting to go to law school and working in legal advocacy with the Center for Women and Families, a local non-profit that provides resources and housing for those impacted by domestic violence. She quickly fell in love with advising families and psychotherapy and realized a career in social work is her passion.
With over 30 years of experience, Kimberly Williams, BSN, RN-BC, is one of our finest health care heroes. Kimberly is a clinical nurse manager at UofL Health – UofL Hospital with a focus in endoscopy.
March is Social Work Month and we’re excited to spotlight our social workers across the organization, starting with our new palliative care social worker – Lacey Exton.
Jim Hannaman, BSN, RN, is the clinical applications team lead under the UofL Health – Information Technology department. In his role, he oversees the work of our clinical applications teams, primarily the Cerner (our hospital-based electronic health record system) team.
Holly Clem, RN, is one of the many friendly faces you’ll find at UofL Health – Mary and Elizabeth Hospital. As the chest pain and STEMI coordinator, she has spent the last four months working in the new 24/7 STEMI program for heart attack patients.
