Jovan Hughes, CPhT, is the operations coordinator of inpatient pharmacy for UofL Health – Downtown Medical Campus.
Jovan hails from the West Side of Chicago. She graduated from Providence St. Mel High School and Northwestern College.
For the rest of her life, Jovan could easily eat fried rice or her homemade tacos made with double corn shells with cheese in between. Also, her favorite breakfast meal is French toast, scrambled eggs with cheese and turkey bacon from Gordon’s with a glass of orange juice and syrup.
Jovan enjoys working out, especially dancing to music. She is also trying to get courage to do karaoke. When she does, she would like to sing Whitney Houston’s “I’m Your Baby Tonight.”
When watching TV, Jovan enjoys “Righteous Gemstones,” as well as “Dateline” and “Law & Order” reruns.
If Jovan could learn any skill, she would love to learn other languages, especially American Sign Language.
Jovan feels the most important thing to do each day is smile. If you see Jovan, be sure to ask her what her favorite dinosaur and favorite Transformer are. She would love to get to know you!
