Samantha Harris has been the senior patient experience coach at UofL Health for three years. She leads a team of patient experience specialists and operators/receptionists. A large portion of her goal is to help develop leaders and improve processes to improve our patient experience throughout UofL Health.
Samantha’s favorite thing about UofL Health is the opportunities and the fantastic team of providers. Her job impacts UofL Health by looking at the system through the “eyes of a patient” and listening to feedback to make sure that we reach our goal of being the number one health care system in Kentucky.
Samantha is currently volunteering for the Junior League of Louisville, where she serves on the fundraising and event committee. As a baseball lover, her life- long goal is to visit all MLB (Major League Baseball) ballparks. She has already visited 6 out of the 30!
Samantha is currently reading Haydn Shaw’s “Sticking Points” and has been watching Hallmark Christmas movies. She enjoys baking, hiking, and hanging out with her fiancé and dog. Her favorite breakfast food is Momma’s Pancake Breakfast from Cracker Barrel.
Her favorite inspirational quote is: “You can make many plans, but the Lord’s purpose will prevail.” – Proverbs 19:21
