Do you know how to play pickle ball? We know someone who is looking to learn! Sherry Meister has worked for UofL Health for 34 years and currently serves as a unit secretary and nursing assistant at UofL Health – Medical Center East.
Sherry directs patients to their rooms, takes patients to their cars and completes paperwork for the unit. She also helps the nurses so they can focus on giving our patients compassionate, innovative, patient-centered care with each encounter.
Sherry’s favorite thing about working for UofL Health is the teamwork. She lives out our mission by staying positive and helping nurses and patients every day.
Sherry was born and raised here in Louisville. Her alma mater is Eastern High School.
In her free time, she enjoys volunteering for the children’s program at her local church.
If Sherry could eat one meal for the rest of her life it would be any kind of pasta. Sherry’s all-time favorite breakfast meal is a combination of eggs and potatoes.
On a day at home, you could catch Sherry reading a Karen Kingsbury book or watching “Grey’s Anatomy” on TV.
If you see Sherry at Medical Center East, be sure to say “hello!” She would love to get to know you.
