Kelsey Schneider is a nurse navigator for the UofL Health – Reflux, Swallowing and Hernia Center located in the UofL Health – Chestnut Street Outpatient Center.
Kelsey has been with UofL Health since June 2021. She chose to work with our organization because of the great opportunity to join as a nurse navigator, help patients find solutions to their reflux, swallowing and hernia problems and help grow the center.
In her position, she impacts our health care system by “helping to streamline care for patients by making sure they have every test they need prior to coming in for their clinic appointment,” said Kelsey. “My goal for UofL Health is to help grow the Reflux, Swallowing, and Hernia Center”.
Kelsey is originally from Brighton, Mich. where she went to high school before graduating from Central Michigan University (CMU). There, she earned her bachelor of science in business administration. She earned her bachelor of science in nursing from Bellarmine University.
Not only is Kelsey a nurse navigator, but she is also a new mom She recently welcomed home a new bundle of joy!
When she is taking time for herself, she may be watching Grey’s Anatomy. She started from the beginning and is currently on season four. So, if you see Kelsey be sure not to drop any spoilers!
Don’t be afraid to say “Hi!” if you see her in passing or join her for pizza. With its versatility and many options, it is one thing she could eat the rest of her life.
