Freda Mozee, RN, MSN, is a clinical nurse manager of the Invasive Cardiology department at UofL Health – Heart Hospital. Freda has worked at UofL Health since 1994!
In her role, she collaborates with cardiology providers and staff to meet patients’ needs. Freda’s goal for UofL Health is for it to continue serving the community by providing exceptional care and having the best outcomes for our patients.
“We utilize research to provide the most innovative care to our communities,” she said.
Freda said she and the other team members at UofL Health work every day to save a life or put a smile on someone’s face, while removing barriers to make sure they can serve our local communities.
Freda’s hometown is Louisville, where she graduated with her BSN from Spalding University. Freda then got her MSN from Chamberlain University. She is a part of the Nurses Guild at her church where she serves as the secretary for the mission group.
Freda’s hobbies include shopping and traveling. Her favorite vacation spot is Santa Monica, California.
