Alice Clements, a mental health therapist with Peace Hospital’s Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Programs, was recently named 2020 Counselor of the Year by the Kentucky Board of Alcohol & Drug Counselors. The announcement was made at the virtual Kentucky Association of Addiction Professionals conference on Oct. 26.
Alice is a driving force in providing telehealth services to our patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. She was instrumental in getting this service off the ground and continues to be the primary therapist providing the service.
In addition, Alice received more name mentions in patient satisfaction surveys over the past year, including comments like, “Alice made every day better for me,” or “Alice is the best counselor I’ve ever had. I’ll take her wisdom with me always,” and “Ms. Alice was phenomenal, she genuinely cares.”
Congratulations Alice, and thank you for all you do for our patients!
