Congratulations to UofL Health – Mary & Elizabeth and Jewish Hospital cardiovascular rehabilitation program’s recent re-certifications by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR). If you’re not familiar, AACVPR Program Certification is recognition of the commitment to improving the quality of life of patients by enhancing the standards of care.
To earn accreditation, the programs participated in an application process that required extensive documentation of practices. As the only peer-review accreditation process, AACVPR Program Certification is designed to review individual programs for adherence to the highest standards and guidelines developed and published by a group of professional societies in the field. Certification is valid for three years.
AACVPR-certified programs are leaders in cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation because they offer the most advanced practices available and have proven track records of high quality patient care.
Congratulations, Mary & Elizabeth and Jewish Hospital team members!
