Kayla Armstrong, RN at UofL Health – Medical Center Southwest’s Emergency Department (ED) was named Nurse of the Year for the Medical Centers.
In her nomination, Kayla was described as an awesome and great team player who rarely complains and shows true empathy with her patients.
“She is recognized regularly by patients. She communicates well with everyone,” Kayla’s nominator said. “She remains calm even during stressful situations. I couldn’t think of anyone better to recognize.”
