A long time occupant of the 9th floor gym at UofL Health – Frazier Rehabilitation Institute, Community Fitness and Wellness (CFW) has moved to Medical Plaza II at 250 E. Liberty Street. The gym welcomed clients in the new space last week.
CFW provides accessible activity-based interventions and exercises to improve health and quality of life for individuals within our community living with physical impairments. Through wheelchair-accessible cardiovascular and strength-training, CFW clients work with exercise physiologists toward health, wellness and fitness goals.
Miranda Garvin, PT, DPT, director of Rehab Services at Frazier Rehab Institute, said CFW clients are excited about the move. “We believe this new space is perfect for the needs of our clients and will allow us to grow and expand services. The building offers easy access for those in wheelchairs.”
More information about CFW is available on the Frazier Rehab website or by calling 502-582-7411.
