UofL Health is pleased to announce that Aundrea Lewis, MBA, RN, NE-BC, has been selected as the next chief executive officer of UofL Health – Peace Hospital.
“The role of chief executive officer is an essential leadership role that helps develop and carry out the mission, vision and values of Peace Hospital and our entire system,” said Tom Miller, CEO of UofL Health. “We are very pleased to have Aundrea in this role and are looking forward to the growth of the hospital under her leadership.”
Aundrea joined Peace Hospital in June 2008 and has held several nursing leadership roles including nurse manager, director of nursing and chief nursing officer. Aundrea received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Spalding University and her master’s degree in business administration from Sullivan University. She is American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) board certified as a nurse executive.
“I am so excited for this opportunity and look forward to working and building relationships with the team members and leaders at Peace Hospital,” Aundrea said. “My main focus as the new CEO is to accomplish the continued mission of providing quality mental health services and reducing health care barriers for our community.”
Aundrea is a Louisville area native and enjoys cooking and spending time with her husband, daughter and two sons.
