Heart on the brain? Wake up with UofL Health on WLKY to get your heart health questions answered!
February 3 @ 5:00 am - 7:00 am
Tune in to WLKY’s Morning Show from 5-7 a.m. on Feb. 3 to learn about heart disease, coronary artery disease, CPR and more from some of your fellow UofL Health team members!
To kick off Heart Month, cardiologists Dr. Henry Saldo and Dr. Rajdeep Gaitonde; Greg Brislin, chest pain coordinator; and Brooke Albro and Brittany Halcomb from Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation at UofL Health – Healthy Lifestyle Centers will be hosting segments focusing on different heart health topics while giving a tour of the giant inflatable heart, live from UofL Health – Medical Center East.
Though our team members will be giving a tour of the inflatable heart, the exhibit is not open to other team members or the public due to COVID-19.
Some of the questions they will be covering are:
- What is coronary artery disease and what factors play a role in heart disease?
- When should I go to the ER to seek treatment?
- How to perform CPR
- How much exercise is recommended to keep my heart healthy?
- What can I do to prevent a heart attack?
