Free continuing education course for social workers

UofL Trager Institute is hosting a free continuing education course for social workers entitled “Best Practices for Tele-services During COVID-19 and Beyond,” from noon-1:30 p.m. Friday, July 17 via Zoom. The event will also include a KCHC meeting.
The course is part of Project ECHO, a tele-mentoring movement dedicated to sharing knowledge and amplifying the capacity of health care professionals to provide best practice care for underserved people all over the world.
The event includes four presenters:
- Elizabeth Volpert, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, Trager Institute
- Shari Polur, Esq. Polur Elder Law
- Anna Walton, LCSW, Trager Institute
- Patient perspective
Anna Faul, Ph.D., and executive director of the Trager Institute will moderate the event.
